Instructions and Checklist for authors

The proceedings of HiPC 2012 will be published in USB flash drive format and will appear in the IEEE Xplore digital library. Please contact the HiPC 2012 Proceedings Co-Chairs, Hoang Le (hoangle AT usc DOT edu), Ananth S. Narayan (ananth.s.narayan AT intel DOT com), and Sushil K. Prasad (sprasad AT gsu DOT edu) for any questions.

IEEE Xplore requirements for PDF will be enforced. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specification for compatibility.

HiPC 2012 has registered for use of IEEE PDF eXpress. IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function). The IEEE PDF eXpress site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support. (New authors are advised to perform trial runs through PDF eXpress in advance of the deadline, as this process can be time consuming).

Deadline for all of the following items, including copyright form is
September 22, 2012
Deadline for author registration and excess page charges is September 30, 2012. The following steps must be taken to properly submit your paper to HiPC 2012.

1. Copyright Form
Submit signed ecopyright form at:

International Workshop on Cloud Computing Application (IWCA)
Link: http://edas.info/N12879
or
Workshop on Massive Data Analytics on Scalable Systems (DataMass)
Link: https://edas.info/N12917
Click on `My papers' Tab. You will see a circle under `copyright' column for your paper. Click this and follow the associated instructions and steps to prepare and submit your copyright form electronically. IMPORTANT: Papers without a submitted copyright form will not be published.
