This page contains information for securing accommodations at the conference hotel. The Travel and Local Information page provides tips to help you prepare for your trip to HiPC 2013 in Bengaluru (Bangalore) and will be updated soon. The HiPC 2013 meeting and social events will be held at the Park Plaza Bengaluru Hotel. A block of rooms for HiPC attendees at special rates has been arranged for two types of accommodations.

The above rates apply for the period December 17th to December 22nd. To obtain the guaranteed special rate, make reservations by December 1, 2013. Bookings after that date are at Best Available Rate of the hotel. Note to international travelers: The actual dollar or Euro amount charged will be based on the credit card exchange rate applied by your credit card bank at the time the reservation is made.

At this posting, you should be able to find accommodations at or below the guaranteed HiPC 2013 Special Rates. If rates are higher or if there is no availability shown, then use one of the options below: Call or Email.

You should specify that you are a delegate for HIPC 2013 (December 17-22) and be prepared to provide all of the information required below for email.

Make Subject: Reservation for HiPC 2013 (your full name)

In body of email, please specify that you are a delegate of HiPC 2013 and eligible for the special rate (December 17-22) and provide the following information:

1) Name, address, telephone, fax and contact email.
2) Accommodation requested (category of room, single/twin occupancy).
3) Arrival and departure information (date, flight no. and time).
4) Credit Card guarantee (name on card, number, type and expiry date).

Deposit: Rooms will be confirmed by a charge on an approved credit card for one night. Cash payment may be made in person. Ensure that the credit card used will not expire before end of stay. Non-India registrants should check that card is authorized for international payment.

Cancellation: Cancellation of any rooms booked before December 1, 2013 may be done until December 5, 2013. After that date, one night retention will be charged. Any bookings cancelled after 12.00 noon on December 17, 2013 will incur a 100% retention charge for the dates of the reservation

Important Information Regarding Accommodations for HiPC 2013: Individual attendees are responsible for making their own arrangements for accommodations. The special HiPC rates offered here by the conference hotel apply to reservations made before December 1, 2013, and are subject to availability, so book early. While the special HiPC rates are discounted from rack rates, they may not be the lowest available and attendees may want to check other properties.
