Information for India-based Participants
Who Should Use This Page
If you are a researcher from an Indian government R&D organization or a faculty member or student from an Indian institution, you are eligible to register for HiPC 2011 at reduced fees made possible through sponsorships from India-based industries and organizations. Click here to register.
If you are associated with a company who is an HiPC Industry Sponsor or Supporting Organization AND have received an HiPC 2011 Complimentary Registration Code, then you should click below to begin your online registration. In the payment section, under Payment Mode, select Complimentary and enter your code in the box provided to complete your registration.
If you are from an India based company and not eligible for the reduced fees, you should use the general form available here or you may register online from that page. See that page for full details on registration at regular fees.

How to Register
Registration for all India-based participants eligible to register at reduced fees will be online. If you have already registered using the hard copy downloadable pdf registration form, you will be notified when your registration is complete.

Before you start your online registration, note the following: When you have completed your online registration, a receipt of your registration will be emailed to the address you provide. If you are paying by credit card, the receipt will give the details of your online credit card payment. You will receive a follow-up acknowledgment when your credit card payment has processed. If you will be paying by cheque/demand draft, the receipt will include instructions for preparing and mailing your payment. For the latter, your registration will not be complete until payment is received (deadline for receipt of payment is November 22nd). Receipt of payment will be acknowledged by email.
Registration Deadlines
September 5 | One author of an accepted paper must register by September 5, 2011 to allow paper to be included in the proceedings. Remember to mail the hard copy form by that date, and send an email to the registration chair stating that you have done so. |

November 15 | Advance registration fees apply until November 15, 2011. After that date, Regular, Onsite fees apply. |
December 1 | Written requests for refunds must be received no later than December 1, 2011. See online registration form. |

Registration Fees Include
Excess Page Charges
If your paper is accepted for the HiPC conference, you may buy up to two (2) additional pages in the proceedings for your paper at a cost of USD 150/ INR 6,750 per page. Please note that these charges are in addition to conference registration. Participants currently residing in India may pay in Indian Rupees.Travel Grants for Students and Faculty in India
A number of student travel scholarships will be awarded competitively. Students in Indian universities and educational institutes are strongly encouraged to apply.
In addition, a limited number of faculty travel grants are available for who are unable to meet their travel expense to the conference.
