Tour 1 (December 20)

Undoubtedly the Taj Mahal of Hyderabad, your visit to the Paigah tombs leaves you overwhelmed with their sheer beauty and intricacy of design. These marvels in stucco are testimony to an evolved state of workmanship that even the most sophisticated of modern machinery cannot recreate. The setting of these beautiful tombs in a garden has a soothing effect.

Later we drive by Hyderabad's pride and treasure, the Charminar. This imposing 410-year-old monument stands testimony to the glory and vision of the Qutub Shahi Era. The setting of Charminar today amidst quaint old bazaars lends a distinct and unique ambience that is distinctly Hyderabadi charm.

Nearby is the magnificent Mecca Masjid, a masterpiece in architectural design and finesse. This massive mosque leaves you wondering how 400 years ago a society could have conceived and executed such a monument.

We drive by the Public Gardens, the imposing 1905 A.D. State Legislative Assembly on your way to the Sound and Light Show at the Golconda Fort. Enjoy a relaxed evening amidst the centuries old ruins of the magnificent Fort as you are taken back into time experiencing the glory that was Golconda.

Tour 2 (December 21)

Today you visit the Qutub Shahi Tombs. This magnificent cluster of tombs built during the reign of the Qutub Shahi kings from 1518A.D. until 1687A.D. offers you a splendid glimpse into history as you enjoy the brilliance of how diverse architectural styles merged to create wonders in
stone and stucco.

Next we visit the world famous Salar Jung Museum. This museum houses the world's largest private collection of art and artifacts. Leisurely browse through the exhibits enjoying art from around the world.

After lunch we visit the British Residency. This magnificent European mansion still exudes the glory and grandeur enjoyed by the British Residents in Hyderabad.

Later we visit the beautiful Arts and Crafts village. Nothing compares with this experience. The arts and crafts village simply enchants you. You can amble around to see folk arts & crafts being created. Pottery, sculpture, weaving, Pembarti (relief work in brass), etc. All very exquisite, very enchanting. You can even buy one of these.

Discover ancient rocks come alive at the Living Rock Art Gallery. You may leisurely walk around the many beautiful gardens set amidst the distinct rock landscape.
