At least one author of each paper must be registered for the conference by in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings. Presentation of an accepted paper at the conference is a requirement of publication. Any paper that is not presented at the conference will not be included in IEEE Xplore. The conference will strictly enforce these requirements.
The proceedings of HiPC 2014 will be published in USB flash drive format and will appear in the IEEE Xplore digital library. At least one author of each paper must be registered for the conference by in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings.
IEEE Xplore requirements for PDF will be enforced. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specification for compatibility, since this is required for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
HiPC 2014 has registered for use of IEEE PDF eXpress. This is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function). The IEEE PDF eXpress site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support. (New authors are advised to perform trial runs through PDF eXpress in advance of the deadline, as this process can be time consuming).
The deadline for camera ready upload of manuscripts is August 25, 2014.
The following steps must be taken to properly submit your camera ready paper to HiPC 2014.
At least one author of each paper must be registered for the conference by in order for the paper to be published in the proceedings. Go to the Registration page to register online. If you have excess page charges, you may pay those as part of your online registration.
Submit signed ecopyright form at the HiPC 2014 EDAS site.
Click on `My papers' Tab. You will see a circle under `copyright' column for your paper. Click this and follow the associated instructions and steps to prepare and submit your copyright form electronically.
IMPORTANT: Papers without a submitted copyright form will not be published.
You may buy up to two (2) additional pages in the proceedings for your paper at a cost of US $150 per page. Please note that these charges are in addition to conference registration and may be paid at the same time you register. They may be paid in Rupees if registering from India.

Each contributed paper will have 20 minutes of presentation time. This includes 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers. The following facilities will be available for making presentations:
