The 22nd annual IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing (HiPC 2015) will be held at the Park Plaza Bengaluru Hotel in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India, during December 16-19, 2015. It will serve as a forum for researchers from around the world to present their current research efforts and findings, and will act as a venue for stimulating discussions and highlighting high performance computing (HPC) related activities in Asia. The conference has a history of attracting participation from reputed researchers from all over the world.
Complementing the main technical program, HiPC workshops serve to broaden the technical scope of the conference in emerging areas of high performance computing and communication, and their applications. The HiPC workshops serve as an extended forum to present and discuss work-in-progress as well as mature research among researchers from around the world and also highlight research activities in India.

Proposal Requirements
The topics for the proposed workshop should complement those listed in the main conference call for papers, and the workshop theme should be chosen to attract submissions based on emerging new interests of the HPC community. The proposal should also specify steps to be taken to form a high level program committee to support the quality of submissions which will place the workshop(s) in a competitive international landscape.
Workshops will be held on the first day of the conference, December 16. Each workshop should be proposed as a half day program, running for 3 hours in the morning or afternoon. Proposals to organize a workshop at HiPC 2015 should include:
Title with a short abstract discussing the topics to be addressed; goals; relevance and significance to the main conference.
Names, affiliations & contact information for organizers and role of each in organizing workshop.
Tentative format of the workshop, such as keynotes, peer-reviewed paper presentations, panel discussions, etc.
Plans for soliciting submissions and the process for selecting papers to be included in the workshop.
