Workshop on Cutting Edge Computing

Dr. Uday Shukla passed away on 20 July 2004 following a brief illness. He had been the co-chair of the Workshop on Cutting Edge Computing since its inception in the year 2001. His enthusiastic support for the workshop will be deeply missed. This year's workshop will honour his memory.

The half-day workshop will feature invited presentations from experts in such areas as Quantum Computing, Supercomputing/Autonomic Computing, Data mining of Scientific Data, etc. The goal is to bring to the attention of researchers and practitioners, recent R&D advances in computing technologies that are expected to dominate the future of computing.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

• Advanced algorithms
• Data mining of Scientific Data
