The HiPC 2004 meeting and social events will be held at the Taj Residency Hotel in Bangalore. See the travel and local information page for more information about the conference location etc.

Special rates for HiPC attendees are available at both the Taj Residency and The Park, Bangalore, which is in the same block as the Taj Residency and is within 2 minutes walking distance. Both are 5 star hotels and offer all of the amenities associated with that rating.

The above special HiPC rates for both hotels are available from December 18th to December 23rd and do NOT include applicable taxes, currently 12%, subject to change. The check-in and check-out time is 12 noon. Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.

Note that the above rates for both hotels are discounted from the rack rates. However, these may not be the lowest available rates. Check with your travel consultant or visit websites specializing in hotel reservations. Based on seasonal variations and promotions, you may be able to find lower rates at these hotels or others nearby.

To reserve accommodations at The Park, Bangalore:
Visit the hotel's online reservation page. Please mention HiPC in the special requests text box.

To reserve accommodations at the Taj Residency:
Send email to [email protected] and copy [email protected]. Specify that you are an HiPC attendee and eligible for the special rate and provide the following information:

1. Name, address, telephone, fax, and contact email
2. Accommodations requested (category of room, single/double occupancy)
3. Arrival and departure information (date, flight #, and time)
4. Credit Card Guarantee (name, number, and expiry date)

Cancelling reservations at The Park, Bangalore:
The hotel charges a cancellation fee equal to one night's charges if the booking is not cancelled 48 hours in advance.

Cancelling reservations at the Taj Residency:
Cancellation after November 30, 2004 will result in a charge of one night's stay.
