Congratulations! On behalf of the 2001 International Conference
Program Committee, I am delighted to inform you that your paper:

has been accepted as regular paper for presentation at the conference, to 
be held in Hyderabad, India December 17-20, 2001. Out of 108 submissions
less than 30 percent were accepted for presentation.

Electronic referee reports are included in this email.

Please note the following:

1. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer Verlag.

2. For your paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one of the
   authors needs to send in a completed registration form along with
   payment of registration fees.  This must accompany the final manuscript.

3. Papers will have 10 pages in the proceedings. Up to two additional pages
   may be purchased at US $100 per page (authors located in India may pay the
   equivalent amount in Indian currency).

4. Each paper will have 20 minutes of presentation time. This includes time 
   for questions. An overhead projector and a data projector will be 
   available in each session.

5. The camera ready manuscript is due August 15. Instructions for preparing
   the camera ready manuscripts have been placed at the HiPC website 
                          http://www.hipc.org/hipc2001
   The author kit will NOT be mailed separately.

6. The camera ready paper, copyright form, extra page charges(if any) should 
   be sent to the Publications Chair

7. Please let me know if none of the authors of this paper are able to
   attend the conference so that the slot alloted to the paper may be given
   to one of the several qualified papers we have been unable to accomodate.
   I would like to get a reponse regarding this as soon as possible.

8. December is peak season for travel to India.  It becomes extremely
   difficult to get airline reservations as well as local accomodations for
   travel to India during this period.  So, please make your reservations
   early.

9. Updated information regarding the conference can be obtained from the

10. A hard copy of the Advance Program will be mailed to you. An electronic
   version will also be available at the above URL.
